Kevin Robertson
“Robertson
was part of a
group of
figurative artists associated with the Gotham studios in Perth, who
looked at the
legacy of figurative elements of traditional art making and picture
imaging. His works have been characterised by
a strong sense of psychological tension and draw reference from such
artists as Eric Fischl and Lucian Freud.” 'mix tape' catalogue, The Art
Galley of Western Australia
